It’s that time of year again when we have to move out of our Center for the election which takes place in our building. Usually we don’t have to move out in November because we are closed for the season or only have a few birds that staff takes home, but this time we have to move because we still have over 20 birds in rehab with us!
Today, Sunday, November 3rd, we will be moving to another location from 11:00am – 3:00pm and staying there until Wednesday, November 6th. Intakes will be limited, and you can also contact the Howell Nature Center if you find a bird in need of assistance. We will not be back to the Bird Center until mid-day Wednesday. This move does give us a great opportunity to do a good fall cleaning and organize our supplies when we move back, but it can be very stressful for our birds. We hope to get a new building…one day!
