After over a year at the BCM, we would like to formally introduce you to the newest member of our team: Clementine the Baltimore Oriole!

Clemmy was surrendered into our care last spring after more than six years of inappropriate human possession. After being kept as a pet for so long, she was extremely imprinted on humans, and similar to our ambassador Blue, she lacked important survival skills needed to be fit for life in the wild. She is now joining our team as an educational ambassador to help spread awareness with her story.

Some of her favorite things around the clinic are tropical fruits and jellies, taking bird baths with Blue, and enjoying fresh air for the first time in her indoor/outdoor flight enclosure. She likes being close to interns, volunteers, and staff, but don’t look too close or you might get pecked!
